In my Queue

Today, I thought I'd share a few of the television shows I have in my Netflix queue.

I hate to admit it, but I really can't wait to have time to watch this one. I know there will be ridiculous historical inaccuracies that will bother me to no end... but I can't resist!

I've been planning to watch this one for, well, ever. But I've just never gotten around to it.

I'm always a sucker for an alien series. I'm not overly sure what this is really about, but I know that some people in it aren't human and, since it's set in Roswell, I assume they are extraterrestrial.

BBC + Robin Hood = 'Nuff Said.

Okay, I know this is about to be blasphemous, but this show makes me think of something like Game of Thrones meets King Arthur meet The Sorcerer's Apprentice.  Three things I love and adore, how can I pass this one up?

Apparently this is another BBC show. I admit, I sometimes love these scandalous shows.

If you didn't know, there is an American show called Cold Case, which my father and I used to watch together. Needless to say when you throw in a British accent and (I assume) tidbits of British humour, I must watch it!

Is your Netflix queue full of unwatched TV series? What are some series you've been meaning to watch?

Fall Weekly Line-Up

Used to, like many people, I watched a ton of television shows every week, religiously. When I moved into the dorm, I didn't have a TV, so I got behind on all my shows. Now I have a TV again, with cable, and a whole new line-up of fall shows! I thought today I'd share the shows I'm watching this fall with you.

  • Sunday - 666 Park Avenue
This ABC show is a really interesting one. I'm actually watching the third episode right this moment. This is the story of an young couple who take a job as the managers of a peculiar apartment building called The Drake. That in itself isn't interesting, but each of the tenants seem to have a strange something with the apartment owner. That really isn't even a good description of the show. It's creepy and lovely, all rolled into one. I watch this one (usually online after) Sundays at 9pm central.
  • Wednesday - Criminal Minds
I have always adored this show! My father, before he passed, and I used to watch this show every night. It didn't matter to us if it was new or a re-run. I have seen every episode and I love it. Criminal Minds is about the BAU (Behavior Analysis Unit) of the FBI. Each episode tells the story of a different serial killer and the BAU team's attempts to catch them. I highly suggest this one!
  • Thursday - X-Factor and Beauty and the Beast
X-Factor, as I'm sure most of you know, is a singing competition created by Simon from American Idol. I really love the panel of judges on this one, so I try to watch it when I can. It airs Wednesday and Thursday at 7pm central.
Beauty and the Beast is a remake of an old television show which is a modern interpretation of the classic La Belle et La Bete. I actually missed the premiere, but I hope to watch it very soon and try to keep up with this one on Thursdays at 8pm central.
What are you watching this fall? Anything I shouldn't miss?
